What Is A Public Adjuster
A public adjuster is a professional claims handler/claims adjuster who advocates for the insured/policyholder in assisting and negotiating that insured's insurance claim. Aside from attorneys and the broker of record, state licensed public adjusters are also legal representatives, professionals who are entrusted by governments as a lawful fiduciary and who are made available to consumers under either state or federal jurisdiction to legally and professionally represent the rights of an insured/policyholder during a business commercial, farm, or homeowner insurance claim process, and sometimes personal injury. Their technical knowledge or expertise and ability to interpret sometimes ambiguous insurance policies allow property owners to recover the best possible indemnification for their claims

When Should You Hire A Public Adjuster?
.
The burden of proof to prove the extent of your loss to the Insurance Company lies squarely upon your shoulders. Insurance policies can be complex and contain confusing language. There are also many conditions, exclusions and limitations. Policy language gets very technical. This adds to the stress of an already distressful loss experience. For an insurance company to write that check which will allow you to rebuild after your loss, there are certain conditions which must be satisfied. Failure to do so could reduce your settlement amount or worse cause your claim to be denied.
Claim Handling
Our experts will handle every aspect of the claim process, leaving you free to do what is important to you. We will:
Conduct a free policy consultation and free inspection of the policyholder’s property to identify any damage that the policyholder may not be aware of at the time.
Dobbs Valley Public Adjusting will evaluate your existing policy to determine what coverage may be applicable to an insurance claim.
Determine the appropriate values for settling all covered damages.
Negotiate the best possible settlement with the insurance company on behalf of an insured.
Dobbs Valley Public Adjusting will make sure that our clients get everything they are owed under the policy. We read and analyze the clients insurance coverage, assess the extent of the damage and loss and negotiate with the insurance company to maximize your financial settlement.
Our Public Adjusting fees are paid based on a percentage of the total paid settlement. The Public Adjuster’s fee may be justified by success in these negotiations. If no recovery is made, the INSURED/CLAIMANT will not be indebted to Dobbs Valley Public Adjusting for any sum of fees. Meaning "No Recovery - No Fee".
